WELCOME TO AMERICAN SUNRISE COMMUNITIES
In May 2006 former HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros launched American Sunrise Communities as an innovative national effort to strengthen urban communities through large scale needs based housing development and new growth opportunities for financially challenged Americans. American Sunrise Communities catalyzes public, private and non-profit partners to create homes and other economic opportunities for hardworking families. Our efforts have created the possibility for over 25,000 housing opportunities for a diverse range of households across the country.
Michelle Martinez attended our March 24, 2007 HomeStart Conference in Denver, Colorado. She officially closed on her unit May 23, 2007.
