The American Sunrise Fund connects investors committed to community development goals with the full spectrum of home builders enabling large-scale development of affordable housing nationwide.

The American Sunrise Fund is a pool of low cost resources that can be used to create affordable housing options. Money will be raised from charitable foundations and Community Reinvestment Act institutions for the following purposes:

Purchasing discounted homes direct from source – the fund will use resources to purchase homes directly from builders that it can sell to low-income buyers at a discount
Subsidizing the purchase of homes through second mortgage financing – the fund will offer low-income buyers second mortgages with low-interest rates to purchase affordable homes
Financing the development of homes through financial partnerships – the fund will loan and invest resources at discounted rates to create affordable homeownership opportunities
Financing urban redevelopment projects that create large scale affordable homeownership opportunities – the fund will stimulate housing development in urban areas by investing in redevelopment projects
